Therapy + Treatment for

Anxiety + OCD

What can this look like?

Anxiety, worries, and obsessions can present in a number of ways, including:

  • Avoidance of certain situations and triggers

  • Insistence on things being done in a certain way

  • Reassurance seeking

  • Irritability

While this is often quite distressing for the child or teen, the impact can extend to the family as well. Often this results in the family’s life feeling smaller and more controlled by the anxiety.

What treatments do I provide?

I treat youth between the ages of 6-18 years old and incorporate the following evidence-based therapy approaches:

  • Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT)

  • Exposure with response prevention (ERP)

  • Supportive parenting for anxious childhood emotions (SPACE)

  • Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT)

*Depending on your child’s age, there may be more or less parent involvement in treatment.
